The on/off-line Total Marketing Support was established to support small and medium-size autoparts manufacturing companies to develop its own capacity to penetrate into overseas market. The aim of the project is for the companies to escape the closed sourcing pattern of the autoparts industry and to open up more opportunities for OEM export into USA and other major markets as the supply chain becomes more open, allowing stable expansion for small and medium-size autoparts manufacturing companies.
On/off-line Total Marketing Support not only match-makes for interested entities on and off-line, but also develops and supports electronic market bidding systems, "Covisint" and the "Free Market". The system will also encourage on-line bidding and off-line follow-up that will increase export potentials of OEM parts and at the same time prepare companies to newly penetrate into overseas market that is changing from buyer auction market to seller auction market.
The 'High Touch' activity has been implemented with the goal of overcoming the limitations of on-line transaction mediation in order to target prominent buyers such as the Big 3 and Tier 1 by posting permanent professional marketers in Detroit, USA.
Goal
- To develop in full-scale small and medium-sized autoparts manufacturing
companies that will directly export to North American OEM parts market.
- To rear companies that will lead the autoparts industry in direct
OEM export, targeting Tier 1 autoparts companies such as Delphi, Visteon
and the Big 3.
- To decrease dependence on supplying parts to domestic finished vehicle
makers. To increase technological introduction and to enhance company
image and globalization of brand.
